Fun storytelling from Roksanda Ilincic

Fun storytelling from fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic for the fall 2012 collection. LEGO is a trend even in fashion. Vogue.com summerizes
For designers who are working mothers—and they’re a real force in the cohort of thirtysomethings now—inspiration very often begins at home. And in the case of Roksanda Ilincic, who has an eighteen month-old daughter, Efimia, it could well have struck with that familiar-to-all-moms sensation of getting up in the night and crunching your feet on the Lego left out by one’s darlings. In any case, Ilincic’s sore soles went to good creative use in her pre-fall collection, because the bright colors of her child’s plastic bricks became the building blocks of her pre-fall lineup.
I'm happy to see that she's inspired by the original LEGO colors that by this are stated as more fashionable than the 2012 style. (How this mother of a toddler can motivate the full white dresses in this collection is a questionmark for me though?)
